The sun was long past the horizon when Anna reached the edge of the forest. The wind was chilly, and a similar chill raged in her soul. Dark shadows of her past haunted her. The thicket of trees swallowed the light ominously, and the path soon disappeared from sight. Stumbling, wearily, she advanced, when suddenly she caught sight of a strange light. An old ruined house stood before her, a faint yellowish light filtering from its window. The air around the house was frozen, as if time itself was terrified of entering.
Anna approached cautiously, her heart pounding in her chest. The door of the house creaked open before her, as if welcoming her in. She stepped inside, and the door closed abruptly behind her. The silence was heavy; all she could hear was her own breathing. A fire flickered in the fireplace in the middle of the living room, but it gave no warmth. The inside of the house was also run-down, its walls damp as if no one had been here for centuries. The shadows moved strangely in the corners… A long, dark corridor opened out in the middle, with a door ajar at the end. She went to look. There was a whisper, which grew louder and louder… and the words slowly became clear: “Help us,” it whispered. Anna knew she was not alone… What could have happened to Anna? Find out before something tragic happens…
The room was great, we really got super scared. The ominous music made it a little difficult to fully focus on solving the riddles, but all in all, the eerie atmosphere was the goal of this room. The riddles were very interesting, we loved them! There were a couple of jumpscares though, so if someone is sensitive to this kind of entertainment, better to choose a room with a more pleasant topic. I am quite an experienced player, and for my friend it was the first time, and just the 2 of us managed to escape in a little bit over 1 hour with just a couple of little hints. We were very happy with the experience, we left the room on shaky legs:)
